After
Daskalopetra the road becomes rising and the shores are rugged.
Just
little to the north, on the right side of the road, on a cliff bending
towards the sea, once full of rosemaries and cypresses, with a great view
of Vrontados, the surrounding scenery and the shores of Asia Minor, there
is a white marble monument of the great teacher, philologist and linguist
John Psycharis (1854 - 1929).
He
was born in Odissos of Russia.
