| Before Daskalopetra there is the most modern and well organized beach of
Ghios, the one named "Ormos Lo"
beach.
It is 34 square kilometers in extent, which had been given by the Ministry of Finance in favor of the Greek State to the Sons C. L. Lo Institute. The donors were obligated to develop in the best way each given athletic and tourist possibility in general benefit. So, very soon, "Ormos Lo" become a modern and self-reliant public beach, well equipped for the use of bathers. |

In the central and
north part of the beach, that someone can visit by paying a small amount of
money for entrance, there is a row of 32 locker-rooms, a bar and free seats,
tents, showers and toilets.
All the supplies offering to the bathers to relax, enjoy swimming and have fun. The south part of the beach has a breakwater from cement, which encircle and protect the athletic facilities of the bay. Also there is lodged the athletic section of P .E .K .E .V. |
| This area has
one Olympic extents swimming-pool.
A water Polo lido, a boat-house with small fleet of sails, kind of Laser and Optimist, and three outboard boats. Locker-rooms, a volley-ball, basket-ball, tiers for 500 people and floodlights for the night games. All the program settles on from the big, two-floor building on the south with the two restaurants (capacity of 200 people each). One in the ground floor for lunch and a luxury restaurant for dinner in the first floor. |

Many youngsters of Vrontados, are members of the sailing team.
From this team were gained distinction great athletes in Pan-Hellenic and European Championships. Every year more and more young people start sailing. They learn about sails, the parts that are made of and the secrets of sea and wind and they begin a dynamic, new trip. |
