The architecture is classic medieval.
The houses are built of stone with characteristic small windows which were used as loopholes against possible attacks of pirates.
The view of the Aegean sea and of Psara and the beautiful sunset are unique from this medieval observation post and gives to the
traveler a feeling of calmness and loveliness.
Here somebody has a chance to live in medieval houses with modern conveniences. |

For those who wish to go swimming there is the beautiful, clean
bay of Elinta, which is less than 10 minutes away from the village.
It's a natural port with fresh water springs on the beach. As they say, at the bottom of the sea there is shipwreck of a Roman ship.
